This is so powerful. It took a mental breakdown last year for me to realize this has been the source of my anxiety since childhood. Thank you for sharing this. Wow 🥹
This letter hit me right in the soul. The idea that our worth isn’t tied to output is something I know intellectually, but often forget emotionally. The reminder that “rest is part of being alive” feels revolutionary in a world that glorifies hustle. Thank you for this gentle, powerful reframe it’s exactly what I needed today. More of this kind of wisdom, please.
This was really useful for me. I have been preparing pretty intensely (mind, body, spirit) for two months for two projects coming to fruition soon. I began with a sense of drive, excitement, and enthusiasm, and now that I am in the home stretch I was starting to feel depleted and agitated. I realized, I did not yet have my checkbox, gold star, pat on the back moment that I sometimes need to keep going....this upset me greatly since I am in the final lap now and feel I lost my momentum. But, reframing to find other ways I bring value into this world is helpful. Tunnel vision can sometimes shut out other light sources. Thank you!
Very, very much so beautiful soul. I always appreciate your contributions and your lovely articles, thank you, thank YOU! For being YOU! Im glad we all exist, and yes, I remember last year after wonderful student of mine was practicing a healing technique on me when we both heard the same thing from spirit at the same time, as she was on my solar plexus area where I'd held onto a lotta this shit, and that was: YOU'RE A HUMAN BEING; NOT A HUMAN DOING. Blessings and blessings, life is good, we will talk soon my friend. Warmly, all my best, Derrick
I needed this today. In a world that screams what are you producing, it is so refreshing to read whispers that we are worthy just as is and not everything is about output.
Great reminder! This reminded me of the importance of being aligned with our core values. When we are out of alignment with what matters most to us, we tend to compensate with endless activity and achievement.

Spot on. It’s just sooo hard to undo 50+ years of programming

Reading this felt like an exhale. A good reminder that our value lives in the quiet, not the checklists.

I love how you put this truth into words!
